Terry and Jen have been visiting Phuket for a few years, and have always been made to feel more than welcome by the locals willing to share their
paradise with visitors from all over the world.

Unfortunately as a result of the tragic events of the tsunami, the number of visitors to the island has greatly reduced, and for a community that relies on tourism for a high proportion of its income, life is hard.

So what do we want you to do?

Simply go back to Phuket, support causes helping the communities, or make a first visit to an Island you'll fall in love with.

Is it safe

The tsunami was a natural disaster, which can occur anywhere at any time. Thailand has put in place a number of early warning indicators which will help reduce the danger if any similar events were to occur in the future.

Is it clean?

A huge effort was put in by both locals and foreign supporters to return the island to its former glory, come and see you wont be disappointed.

The fund raising helped Tikki buy new equipment for her new tattoo studio. The old one was washed away in the Tsunami

Woody Leonard – local Patong Rotary Club treasurer – received funds to help build a new childcare facility.
